In September 2011, we will be walking 50 miles through the Carpathian Mountains to raise funds for the WSPA Bear Sanctuary in Romania.

It is a very tough challenge, but we are determined to do it as we think that the work that WSPA does with the bears is amazing.

The sanctuary cares for bears that have been rescued from a life of cruelty and helps them live out the rest of their life in peace and happiness.

We know how much of a challenge this is, as Dawn did the same trek in 2009 and found it very hard-going.

However, we think that with a lot of training, walking up and down the local hills at every opportunity, we will manage it.

Thank you to eveyone who has donated, we really appreciate it - I have now added to the amount raised the £285 which was raised by lovely son by running the London Marathon.
