DISASTER!
With only a few days to go until the Flora London Marathon 2009, I've had to withdraw. For perhaps the first time in my life, I've listened to medical advice and withdrawn due to the viral illness I've been suffering from for the last ten days or so.
I'll be back next year though! Thanks to all those who've sponsored me and if you have no objections, I'll carry your sponsorship over to next year.
Cheers, Dave
Thanks for visiting my NHDF fundraising page.
The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) does brilliant work for a huge range of people with a huge range of illnesses and injuries. The National Hospital Development Foundation (NHDF) supports this work.
Amongst the many people treated here is my wife, Karen. She's been looked after brilliantly by Professor Clare Fowler and her wonderful team. Entering the London Marathon has been an aim of mine for years, combining this with raising money for NHDF is a dream. This is my chance to say "Thank You" to all at NHNN for the care they've provided to both Karen and me.
This is the education bit... Karen has been treated at NHNN for Fowler's Syndrome. If you want to learn more about Fowler's Syndrome, please click HERE.
Please donate generously.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Hospital Development Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation (at no extra cost to you!).
So please sponsor me now!
