I have ‘foolishly’ decided to run the Birmingham Half Marathon on 24^th October later this year.  In the last 10 months my Granny has suffered a heart attack resulting in a quadruple bypass, my Uncle has also suffered a heart attack and I have been diagnosed with a heart murmur.  All of us are on the road to recovery thanks to the research undertaken and technology developed by the British Heart Foundation.  Most people will know someone affected directly or indirectly by heart problems, which is why I hope you will consider donating in these financially difficult times.
