Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my fundraising page for "Running the Sahara 2010".

Since mid-2009, Sandblast has run the campaign "Running the Sahara" to publicise this great event as much as we possibly could. The wonderful Saharawi athlete Salah Amaidane joined our efforts and came over from France, his political refuge, to campaign for the international recognition of Saharawi athletes.

This year, I join 32 runners from the UK in taking part in the annual sporting event, the Saharamarathon. I plan on walking (not quite running!) the full 42km of the Saharamarathon.
