I was lucky enough to get a ballot place for the London marathon this year.  I'm taking part in such a huge sporting event and despite not needing to raise money for a charity, I feel that such an opportunity can't be missed. I have chosen to raise money for Menphys, a local chairty who provide care for children and young people with disabilities. This charity needs to raise £500,000 every year and even a small donation will help them reach this goal.
