Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
July saw me embark on my greatest motorcycle challenge since riding off road across South Africa in 2008. I wrote a blog (http://czessgreatcoastlineadventure.blogspot.com) in which I recorded my journey as I rode clockwise around the UK coastline.
The ride took me two weeks covering 3,627 miles at an average of just over 54 miles to the gallon. It was physically challenging riding at least eight hours a day but the views around this country of ours were truly magnificent.
Also it was great to see that I managed to exceed the fundraising target I set for myself. This money has already gone to the Alzheimer's Society.
Why did I do it? Two reasons: Firstly) To mark a significant birthday in August - feel much wiser now! ; and secondly) to raise some money to fight against this wretched illness. I pray that the money raised will help bring about a cure.
Finally the business blurb that you should know:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
If you missed it first time round, dont worry. Your money is still good and your donation will still be accepted :-)
So go on, donate now.
