Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Our JustGiving page.

On May 17th 2012 Jon Bradshaw & Simon Welch, will be taking on an epic journey all in aid of charity - Marie Curie Cancer Care

This journey will take place entirely off road from Winchester to Eastbourne, along the South Downs Way...on a mountain bike - and once we reach Eastbourne, we will turn around an cycle back again.

This, as they say in the cycling world, is called the 'South Downs Way Double' and will cover a distance of 200 miles, on hard off road tracks and we will climb over 8000 meters (they don't even do this on the Tour de France in a day!
So why are we doing this?  Its all for charity. But not just any charity, we are doing it for the Marie Curie charity in aid of those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Our aim is to raise at least £8,848 as this is the height of Everest in metres and is also the total height of the climbs that we will have done by time we arrive back in Winchester.

Thank you for taking time to read this and thank you in advance for any change you can spare.

Every penny does help and its for a fantastic cause.  Jonathon & Simon
