Hello all as many of you know my mum has lost 13 and half stone on her own with slimming world. She has now decided she is happy where she is weight wise but has been left with saggy skin in various places. She has been through the doctors to try and get her arms done on the NHS but unfortunately they have classed it as cosmetic and have denied her request even after appealing. My mum is determined to have this done and is now going private but this obviously means it’s now going to cost her a lot of money (£4828 in total) so I’m setting up this page to try and raise money to help her pay for this procedure. She has done amazing in just under three years to lose 13&1/2 stone all by herself. She joined SlimmingWorld in 2015 weighing over 26 stone and being unable to walk more than a few steps without needing to stop for a rest and being almost house bound asking my sisters and me to go do shopping for her and to fetch anything she needed. If she didnt do something she would die and she didnt want to have a gastric band fitted. Fast forward to today she weighs 12&1/2 stone and is out everyday walking whatever the weather looks after her grandchildren and is able to enjoy spending time with them.
