Story
Hi! I'm Will, and I'm excited to have been picked as one of 63 Scouts to represent Devon, along with 4,300 from the UK, to go to West Virginia in the US for the 24th World Scout Jamboree in the summer of 2019.
We'll be joining Scouts from over 150 countries for the biggest World Scout Jamboree ever!
The venue has some of the best facilities, including the longest zip-line in the world, the biggest skate park, over 36 miles of mountain biking trails and the largest man made climbing zone.
As well as being a big adventure, the World Scout Jamboree will teach us personal development, including leadership, service and international friendship.
My mission is to raise enough funds to be able to go. I need to raise £4,100 in 18 months to make the trip possible - part of this is to help Scouts from poorer countries attend too.
If you’d like to support me with my fundraising I’d be very grateful for any donations. I'm also happy to do odd jobs and car washing, or to help with any boating jobs in return for a contribution towards my trip.

6 years agoJust a quick update to let you all know that Will has raised everything he needs to go to the Jamboree in West Virginia this summer! He has worked really hard with odd jobs, car washing, bag packs, car boot sales, leaflet dropping and all sorts of other bits and bobs. And of course, generous donations from family and friends, thank you very much! We're going to close this page down now.
