Will (aged 8) and Adam (aged 8) will be participating in a Sportathon on Saturday, 1st February for this worthwhile cause! This will consist of; 1 hour of tennis, 1 hour of football, cycle ride from Forest Row to East Grinstead, 10 lengths in pool (200 metres)

The cause:

Horrific unrelenting fires continue to decimate NSW in Australia, during one of the worst droughts in history. During the catastrophic fires, lives have been lost, hundreds of homes have been lost, over 4.9 million hectares of land has been destroyed and dozens of fires are still burning.

Its impossible to estimate the number of native animals that have perished or how many more will be lost in the fires, or to predict the impact that dire food and water shortages, as well as habitat loss caused by the fires and drought, will have on wild populations.

With species such as Koala and Grey-headed Flying-foxes already listed as vulnerable to extinction, the additional loss of life caused by emergencies like the fires and droughts is even more devastating.

This donation will help fund the rescue and care of these animals and help ensure future generations will get to see wildlife in the wild.
