I will be running London marathon in October 2022 to raise as much money as i can to help a lady who has moved me with her strength, bravery and determination to purchase a powered front wheel for her wheelchair. every mile of training, aches and pains will be nothing compared to what she has to endure every single day doing the simplest of things, most of which we all take for granted. please help me to reach my goal and make a huge difference to A life.

A was diagnosed with cerebal palsy from birth, mobility has deteriorated recently this is due to deterioration in her condition and a diagnosis of fatigue. She has had to accept she will now have to use a wheelchair to access the community, this has been difficult for her to accept. A worked hard all her life to maintain her independence, she has had to give up her job which she loved due to deterioration in her mobility, this has massively impacted on her mental health and finances, recently having to purchase her own wheel chair from her life savings. Using a manual wheelchair is not easy, had a go myself and found it so tough, i have spent lots of time helping her to build up strength to get out in the community not only physically but mentally. A would like to get back some of her independence by purchasing a powered front wheel for her wheelchair, this would enable her to get out in the community independently, keep her safe from risk of falling when out and about. my goal is to help her to get a little help towards this purchase, she has given so much To everybody in her life, worked so hard to maintain her independence.
