I've raised £2000 to Fund Wallys emergency critical care and ongoing treatment

On Monday November 6th nothing couid prepare the Cat Assist team for the emergency intake they would be dealing with today! We received a call about a cat that had been found in Prees at the roadside, we were told it had significant injuries, that was an understatemen, upon collection it became apparent that this cat was in fact just a young kitten and facial burns seemed to be what we were dealing with, we thought this young kitten could have been victim to a bonfire that had been lit and had managed to flee (we‘ve had that before)!! He was rushed to the vets and treatment and advice was given for his care, the team rallied around to get everything in place for him but unfortunately he started to deteriorat, his temp plummeted and he became critical very quickly, off to the emergency vets he went and it transpired that we were actually dealing with caustic burns, this makes sense for the extent of the injuries, we can only assume that this has been a very sick attack on a young and defenceless kitten by a human!! We have named this very special boy who has stolen our hearts “Wally” he seemed to have some fight in him so we’re not going to give up on him. The vets have put lines in, antibiotics are being given via IV also as Wally is also query sepsis which can take hold very fast especially in a kitten of his size. The estimate for Wallys care is £2000 and this is a plea for help! Once again we‘re over capacity and funds are low but we cant let Wally down when hes already been let down by the human race. Could you possibly donate to this cause or share the page if youre not able to help financiall.
wally wouid be forever grateful.
