On the 29th of October 2016 we lost Ewen Chisholm, a caring and inspirational leader in so many ways, whether this be in business, friends or family. In particular he had a real strength and passion in sport & development of others. Ewen was a much loved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, and friend to many, and gave so much, and asked for so little.

Ewen was a complete rascal in his early years, keeping his Family much on their toes. Yet, an amazing example of wildness, energy and sporting ability later harnessed into sound and progressive business ability, whilst still creating fun, friendships and helping others. An amazing skier, nearly at Olympic Level, a mountain walker and later biker. A great sporting network created in everything he was involved with.

We are already gathering funds and planning some exiting and adventurous fundraising activities to help support several bike related projects, including the much needed regeneration of the Kirriemuir BMX track.

The broad aim is to promote and support mountain biking development with young people in Scotland.

The organisational committee will be made up of the immediate family and up to five ' business heads' who have been involved with Ewen over the years and have become friends of the family.

We would like to highlight that we are not a charitable trust or foundation, nor regulated in anyway except by best practise and repute. Therefore there are minimal costs in running the fund.
