Story

We are partnered with a charity - Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre, which aims to improve the understanding, treatment and outcomes of children and young adults who suffer from brain tumours. They have helped us tremendously in the past and this fundraiser allows us to give a little bit back to them.

Over the last couple of years, our boat club has also expanded massively and is showing through our success at BUCS and HRR last year. However, with the club expanding and achieving more milestones, our equipment is starting to wear out and we are left with not enough for our ever-growing collective. This is especially apparent with our ergs and erg bikes as well as blades, which are all vital to our success in races. Therefore, we have decided to run this fundraiser to row for 24 hours straight over 5 different ergs to break the million-meter mark in a record time (under 19 hours 30 minutes).

The split of the money raised will go 50% to CBTRC and 50% to our club.

We greatly appreciate any help that you are able to give us in achieving the goal!
