I've raised £1000 to support GO Girls! fundraising for the Dorset County Hospital Cancer Appeal - supporting women with gynaecological cancers

Mum died from ovarian cancer. 11 women die every day from ovarian cancer and enough is enough! Throughout mum's illness she was supported by the GO Girls! who offer advice, support and hugs to all women affected by gynaecological cancers. Since then, I've been supporting this fantastic group as they campaign to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and raise much needed funds for a consulting suite as part of Dorset County Hospital's Cancer Appeal. Last time, I endured the heat of the desert - running and completing what is often described as the toughest marathon on earth - Les Marathon des Sables. But now I am swapping sand for snow for my next fundraising adventure - last time you helped me raise over £5,000 - thank you. So now I will be running the Everest Trail Race (www.everesttrailrace.co.uk) - 153kms in 6 days at high altitude and depleted oxygen - so please do support me if you can for GO Girls! - Mum would be proud - thank you"
