I've raised £100000 to Help fund a new community centre that will increase integration, activity and most importantly, decrease isolation within the community.

The Glasgow Grannies (The Rocker’s) are raising funds towards a new dance studio!
By now we hope you have seen and heard about Glasgow’s most famous Grannies, Edith, Sadie, Flora and Sadie who on a glorious sunny Sunday in Glasgow’s Merchant City took to the street and gave an impromptu performance when they heard music coming from a live band playing.
The Rocker’s meet weekly within the Possilpoint Community Centre to practice their line dancing skills, as well as providing a safe environment for the ageing community of Possilpark and surrounding areas of North Glasgow. The Possilpoint community centre is a vital community resource that is host to many worthwhile services, projects and organisations that offer a wide range of activity including, Youth provision, Health and wellbeing programmes, services for profoundly disabled young people, Family support, gender specific groups and other amazing services which help develop the area of Possilpark into a prosperous place.
The Rocker’s want to raise £100,000 for Possilpark People’s Trust a local charity (SC048052) ran by local people from Possilpark, for the people of Possilpark. The charity aims to regenerate the area in order to make Possilpark the best place for people to prosper! The charities overall aim is to raise 3 Million pounds to create a new state of the art ‘Possilpark Community and Family Centre’ that will enhance the existing programmes of activity, create new services that will offer the Possilpark community an environment that will increase integration, activity and most importantly, decrease isolation within the community.
