Story
John Gannon was a linch pin of the Manchester rock and metal scene. He was the sound of Jilly’s Rockworld and The Ritz and will be truly missed by those who loved and respected him (and that was so many of us). To help John’s partner and family with costs associated with his departure, please help by donating to this fund 🤘🙏

4 years agoHi everyone, Dawn has asked me to end this fund early, as she now needs the funds for the funeral to go ahead. I have emailed the justgiving team to ask if this can be done, so this page will not remain for much longer. Dawn is overwhelmed by the generosity of John’s friends and the metal and rock community for raising such an awesome amount. Many thanks, love and light for your support and generosity in making this possible. John would’ve been proud of each and every one of you. May the Gods of rock and roll shine on you \m/
