Story
Unfortunately the war in Ukraine has just passed the two year mark, causing misery to many communities. This ongoing conflict has led to a lack of medical supplies so desperately needed to evacuate the wounded.
A group of Stamford volunteers and Ukranian friends, currently living in the area, have set up a small sewing hub and are working in collaboration with local businessman Mark Lawrence to develop and make a robust, light weight collapsable stretcher which can be used in a range of medical settings. We are therefore asking your help, however possible, to 'sponsor a stretcher'. All funds go directly towards the creation and transportation of life-saving support to people who need it the most. Suggested donations: £20 - sponsor a stretcher yourself, or together with friends, family, or any group £25 - personalise your sponsored stretcher with a signature, drawing or a few encouraging words Thank you for any help you can give.
