The Whole School is Walking for Girls' Voices and For The Children's Surgery Foundation!
On 16th October, our entire school will take part in a sponsored walk to raise funds for the Girls' Voices Project — a transformative initiative giving every girl chorister at St Paul’s Cathedral the opportunity to thrive through world-class boarding and a scholarship programme that opens doors to all, regardless of background.
Being a chorister is a life-changing experience. It nurtures resilient, independent, and motivated young people who grow into skilled, organised team players. It’s also a joyful journey that embraces families and communities, offering the chance to excel musically at the highest professional level in a supportive environment.
During their time at the Cathedral, choristers enrich the lives of millions — in person and through regular broadcasts — and go on to succeed in diverse fields from music to business and elite sport.
Now, for the first time in the school's 900-year history, girl choristers benefit equally from this world-class musical education, ensuring true equality and setting a new gold standard in cathedral music across the UK and beyond.

In the spirit of giving, half of all funds raised will go to a second charity chosen by our pupils: The Children’s Surgery Foundation, which supports babies, children, and their families by improving paediatric surgical care (Charity number 1187476). We’re proud to help fund their first nationwide project to make intravenous access more efficient and less intimidating for young patients and their families.
