Story
St Peter's Church, Upper Arley, was broken into on the 23rd December 2021. Windows were smashed and doors were kicked in. The church hand bells, bell ropes, belfry clock and donation box were all stolen. The visitors also decided to relieve themselves by the alter. Thank you to all those who have already helped with the initial clean up and repairs. We are so thankful for the support of our amazing community.
The insurance will cover the cost of the damage, but there is an insurance excess of £1000 which we need to find. Could you help raise this money for your local church? Any donations, no matter how big or small would be gratefully received. Thank you.
(If we happen to raise more than £1000, the money will go towards the work of St Peter's).
