I've raised £2000 to help the Prykhodko family from Ukraine rebuild their lives in the UK.

Each year Squat2Fit hosts a family event for the Woking community to promote healthy living through exercise and to raise money for a local charity or a much needed cause.
This year we are pleased to host another 5K Family Fun Run and Umbrellathon on 1st May 2022, 10 am at Woking Park. This promises to be another exciting event for the entire family. To find out more and to confirm your place, please see our website here: https://squat2fit.com/squat2fit-family-5k-fun-run/.
All funds raised, will be donated to The Prykhodko family from Ukraine (friends of Squat2Fit), who have now migrated to England. Please help us, to help them rebuild their lives and be reunited with their family and friends.
Here is their story....
We are The Prykhodko family
A Ukrainian family from the sunny city of Odessa on the Black Sea coast. We dreamed and made plans for the future. In our dreams, we were always together, but now we are apart: my daughter and I are in peaceful England, and my husband is in Ukraine where there is a war.
A little about us.
My husband, Sergey is a bank worker, stayed behind in Ukraine to look after my elderly parents in those difficult times. Everyone always calls him a bear, he is big and very kind.
My daughter Anna, 8 years old, loves dancing and playing outside, loves to study and play with her friends, now living with me, in England.
I am Natalia, I love my family and country. I am fond of photography and before the war I had a small photography business in Ukraine.
On February 24, war entered our lives. Plans and dreams collapsed, we woke up from explosions ...
My daughter and I left Ukraine to flee the war, through three countries we eventually got to England. At the moment, we do not know what lies ahead for us. We really miss our daddy, our beloved city, friends and family.
With great gratitude to England and its people who help in this difficult time for our Ukraine and its people.
With heartfelt gratitude.
