AND... We are there!!! Target hit! As promised, this is the last time I will post the link. Thank you ALL so much! (but I am keeping the page going for a while just in case) Soon we will be able to buy lots more slowcookers to pass on to the 3 groups here in Shrewsbury distributing them to those in food and energy poverty. I just had a quick looksee here, and i see with just a few more donations we will hit the target! What does this mean in real life? it means a LOT of people in food and energy poverty will be able to prepare more nutritious meals, without having to panic over how much electric/gas it uses, which helps with that other winter problem, do I heat or eat? many many people cannot afford to put the heating on AND buy/cook food. Plus there is another bonus to hitting the target... I will stop constantly posting this link all over social media :)

This morning I looked to see how we are doing, and was very moved to notice the comment from the latest donor. Once of our recipients of a slow cooker has decided to put something in so that others can be helped too! Very heartwarming to see. People that are struggling themselves still want to help others! Thank you so much whoever you are, it is really appreciated.
