Greenfaulds High School's social justice committee are taking part in a virtual sleep out to raise awareness for Homeless across Scotland.

This year especially, homelessness charities have seen a huge surge in people becoming homeless. Many families have seen their finances impacted by COVID due to job losses. However many are becoming homeless because of the restrictions COVID has brought with it, barriers to sofa-surfing.

COVID has placed huge pressure on people already struggling with low wages and high rent.

We want to raise awareness whilst showing our support to those in difficult situations. We hope you can support us!

We will be doing a virtual sleep out. Teachers and pupils will spend a night out in their garden experiencing some of what it is like to live without a permanent home. Teachers and pupils will be evidencing their evening with updated blogs and videos :)
