Iʼve raised £380 to Provide a Christmas Lights Display in Sheerness Town Centre to bring Happiness & Festive cheer to the Residents & Visitors to our Town
- Sheerness, United Kingdom
- Funded on Monday, 25th December 2017
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
The Sheerness Town Team, which provides the festive lights around the Local Clock Tower and along the Broadway, must raise around £6,000 if the display is to go ahead this Christmas
So they are launching a public appeal in the hope Sheerness will once again be lit up for Christmas.
Last year the Town Team spent £6,000 of grant funding to pay for the lights and their installation but that source of funding is not available this time and so they are looking to other ways of raising the necessary funds.
With Sheerness Town Centre feeling the pinch from out of town shopping centres the last thing it needs would be to lose the Christmas lights display which bring a lot of happiness and festive cheer to the High Street.
Please consider helping us to keep the festive spirt alive this Christmas and donate whatever you can afford – Every Little Does Help. Thank You.
