We did It! We went and won the 3rd section of the 2017 North West Regional Championships and now we’re off to the national finals in Cheltenham. We are proud as punch to represent the North West but especially to represent Rivington and Adlington.

The downside to all this excitement is the cost – we need to transport our players and instruments to Cheltenham, stay over, and hire a rehearsal room and this all comes at a price.

We’re a hard working band and generally we manage to raise the funds that we need for day-to-day things ourselves – you will have seen us marching through towns, performing at festivals or even been to one of our concerts and if you’ve not then keep an eye open for our Proms in The Meadow event – you don’t want to miss it.

Despite all our hard work this just about covers our general expenses – instrument repairs, music, uniforms etc are all costly so whilst we will be going to Cheltenham come rain or shine we’re trying not to let this have a knock on to our basic finances, and we really need your help.

The band compromises players of all ages and we have an active training band as well. This will be a fabulous experience for all players and we are grateful of your support.
