Story
Following government guidelines, River Bourne Community Farm has closed the farmyard and café/shop to all visitors and students. This has meant that a very large proportion of our income has ceased for the foreseeable future. The farm is home to around 250+ animals and birds of all kinds – Cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs, poultry and game birds, and small animals – who all still need feeding. Our animal feed bill is around £1200 a month. We anticipate not being able to re-open for at least 3 months.
We fully appreciate that these are very difficult times for everyone but we have been approached by several kind people who have expressed a wish to help us. If you feel you are in a position to make a donation at this time, we would all be extremely grateful.
