Hello, my name is Richard Dalton and this is my story... now I'm sure that in this day and age you know or have known somebody battling cancer and know just how hard it can be for all, unfortunately some win and some lose and sadly my mum having fought her battle for the majority of my life (16 YEARS) lost, she could no longer hold on... 16 years of pain, tiredness and struggling, she can now rest easy... from breast cancer, lung cancer right the way through to terminal bone cancer, as well as diabetes, ocpd breathing problems and having only one lung to contend with I grew up fast, my dad had to give up work to become her full time carer... with vertically no outside help or funding we did it on our own... yes we'd go without food and electricity but we always had each other and that was always what mattered...the debts have been spiraling but there is and will never be no better value than the close love of family, we have granted my mum's only wish, for us to remain in our family home... no matter how much trouble it got us in and we'll continue to do our best to do so, ive tried to remain possitive the last few weeks but to be told your mum is stable to then get "the call" was soul destroying and I hope nobody else will ever need to go through that and deeply sympathies for those that have.... so although we'd like to buy our own headstone and or bench to remember such a wonderful mum, a wonderful wife but we simple can't fund it all... we've never relied on others, somehow we've always got by... but this, this is to far out of reach as a family we're still stabilising ourself both emotionally and financially and I'm creating this just giving page in hope that somebody somewhere can help us contribute where ever possible to have that piece of closure and reminiscement for us firstly I thank you for taking your time to read this and secondly thank you to any willing participants I'm certainly some body who understands the value of money.
