Story
The RHVC is raising funds for Gareth who sustained a spinal injury in 1992, whilst playing rugby for Richmond u19s.
After his rehabilitation at Stoke Mandeville Hospital he moved into a flat in Hampton, hoping to quietly get back on with his life. He has, since then, lived independently with the aid of a team of Personal Assistants employed by himself through various means. One of those means is a regular contribution from Richmond Rugby Club.
He still enjoys watching rugby, a few beers with the boys, going to gigs, cinema, theatre, travelling and long walks down by the river and in Richmond Park with his old German shepherd dog called Max.
