I am going to be doing a solid 24 hour Gamathon, where I will be online gaming for a full 24 hours. I will pause the timer for things like food and bathroom breaks but will continue until a full 24 hours on a stop watch has been achieved.
After doing the Skydive in December 2017 and raising an amazing £1135.00, I am eager to do something else to raise money for our cats and kittens in the Huddersfield Feral and Stray Cat Rescue.
The rescue has been going just over a year and was form by 4 crazy cat ladies on 31/12/2016, since then in our first year we have helped 415 cats and kittens and spent over £29,500 on vet bills alone!
We have grown a small network of fosters who are wonderful and we could not do what we do without them. Our vets bills are now currently over £4,000 per month due to the high number of cats we currently deal with. We dont put a cat to sleep even when the odds are poor. We fight for them and give them every chance they possibly can have, even if it means we have to raise thousands to do it, we will.
We are desperate to expand on the amount of cats we can care for and I would love to be able to use this money towards outdoor cat kennels where we can safely house more strays and ferals.
We have an adoption program where we find them forever homes after homecheck and once the cat has been fully vaccinated, flea and wormed, neutered and microchipped.
