Story
The underpass of the M48 - Old Severn Bridge - is the Gateway into Wales and part of the National Cycle Route. For many years has been somewhere less than welcoming to cyclists and walkers travelling across the stunning Severn Bridge. In 2018 it became home of the Severn Bridge parkrun .
We have endeavoured to keep the area clean and litter free and a group of local Street Artists have started using their skill to 'Paint the Tunnel'.
We are looking to help support their amazing work by helping them to raise funds for their paint. Any excess funds will be donated to parkrun UK.

3 years agoTobyās work has continued & heās managed to get in a few INCREDIBLE local artists such as TRex & Ryder to put some artwork up. Heās also attempting to fund a further programme of artwork over more of the tunnel area with the help of the Council Thanks for the ongoing support šš¼

3 years agoWe've have updated the target from Ā£900 to Ā£1200 to cover the increased costs of the paints needed as the project has grown. Toby & the other artists are donating the time spent on the project for free. It shows great community spirit. Chepstow thanks you.

I am a Dentist working in Newport & live in Chepstow. I am part of the team who run Severn Bridge parkrun. I know the artists who are painting the tunnel (currently out of their own pockets!) It's a great Community Project which has the backing of Chepstow Town Council and SWTRA.
