Last minute I've entered the Oswestry 10k on 15th October. No training, never quite managed 5k, believe me I hate running and most of my effort results in little forward propulsion but I'm giving it a try and will at least crawl over the line.

Duncan Cyclied Alpe D'Huez and Mount Ventoux 2 iconic and difficult mountain climbs from the Tour de France, each being twice the height of Snowdon. Alpe D'huez has 21 hairpin bends .

Mont Ventoux has the memorial to Tom Simpson who sadly died on the climb. Duncan will cycle his new bike with his old legs. The champion cyclists would do it in an hour Duncan hopes to do it in a day!! {Of course he may near their record on the way back down}
