We are looking to help raise funds towards helping create a sensory garden at our childrens school, Orchard Brae in Aberdeen.

The school caters for children with additional support needs and has a swimming pool, soft play and sensory rooms. The sensory garden would add another practical and fun area for the pupils to utilise.

Orchard Brae has had no funding made available due to the ongoing pandemic, so are relying on the good will of others and looking for north-east companies and individuals to help make the outdoor area a reality.

Our children attend the school and we thought it would be fun to organise a sponsored 5k with them. We will be doing this on sunday the 19th June. We will walk along the old railway line from Cults to the Duthie park. 5k is no east task for our children they will be encouraged to walk as much as possible but will also have their wheelchairs/disability buggies if required.

Please help us to help contribute something towards the garden for all children to enjoy on out return to school.
