I've raised £1000 to Rotary 100 Scarborough This is an exciting initiative to mark 100 years of Rotary in Scarborough.

This is a year-long fundraising project beginning July 2021 aimed at raising an ambitious target of £100,000 to help three local charitable causes to deliver improved services for the Scarborough community. The Rotary Club of Scarborough is delighted that The Scarborough YMCA, NHS Scarborough Hospital and St Catherine‘s Hospice have agreed to be the club’s official partners in this exciting initiative. Each of these organisations have identified a legacy project which will enhance the lives of many local people across a wide range of age groups. We are seeking your help to raise this funding and ideally we want to encourage 100 businesses/organisations/individuals to raise £1000 each to help meet the target.
My name is Nigel Wood and this year I am the President of The Rotary Club of Scarborough I have embarked on a virtual walk from Lands End to John O‘Groats — this is 874 miles. Each day I log the miles I walk and add them to my total to be completed by June 2022 where I will have walked the distance from Lands End to John O‘Groats. This is part of my contribution to this fantastic local cause. If you feel you can support me on my walk please give on this JustGiving page.
If you want to be one of the businesses or individuals that sign up to raise £1000 please get in touch via my email nigel@pomfs.co.uk.
Thank you for your support together we can make a difference.
