Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page and help us reach our target.
Your donations will go directly and securely to Nairn County Football Club Ground Improvement Fund to improve the badly needed floodlights at Station Park.
The challenge for myself and Larry Walker, is a sponsored cycle round 10 Nairnshire and Inverness castles on Friday 21st July 2023. We will be joined by fellow county supporter and keen cyclist Eric Summers. Eric regularly cycles 15 miles. He has recently upped his training to 20 miles because he wants to cycle the first 6 stages to Kilravock Castle.
We will cover a distance of approx 60km / 40 miles. The route is far from flat!! the total ascent is 1500 ft which equates to walking half way up a Munro!! Footnote neither the 3 of us have cycled 60km before our furthest being 40km!! We are all up for this challenging, challenge. Your donations will keep us going.
Many of the castles we will be visiting will be known to you, however, there is a few I bet you never knew existed!! did you know there was 2 castles in Nairn?
No e-bikes will be used on this challenge, pedal power only!!!
