Story
We have set this page up in memory of our dear mother and grandmother, Muriel Brent-Breschinsky, who died on Friday 16th August 2024 at the absolutely amazing age of 97.
Muriel/Mim/Mum/Grandma, however you knew her, adored flowers but requested that donations be made to The YELAbus Association, a cause very close to her heart. Grandma's latter years were greatly enhanced by the YELAbus, who collected her weekly and took her and friends shopping, on day trips, etc. She had many many happy memories of times spent on trips with friends, which wouldn't have been possible without this service.
Please read the details below to find out more about this amazing charity, and the invaluable service their volunteers provide to our local community on a daily basis.
"For residents in and around Blackwater & Hawley, Eversley and Yateley, we would love to help you with your transport needs.
We have minibuses capable of carrying up to 15 passengers, allowing us to provide transport for all groups and people who are residents in the Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey areas with the help of our volunteer drivers.
We are happy to help whether its a trip to the local shops, days out to places of interest, holidays or more regular activities.
The two buses have tail lifts that allow full wheelchair access which makes carrying those with mobility problems straightforward. However, the buses provide a comfortable means of transport for all our community. Our drivers are trained to ensure they can assist all travellers.
We are happy to talk to anyone in the area who could use our services on a one off or regular basis. Our main contact is our Operations Manager.
Registered charity number: 1153996

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, the funds will be sent to The YELAbus Association.

3 months agoThank you sooo much to everyone who has donated via online, and at the celebration of Muriel's life today. It was so precious to see everyone there. Grandma would have been so touched. We had a total of £370.86 given in cash & cheques (payable directly to YELAbus, thank you!!) today, so we've smashed our target! If you wish to still donate, this page will remain open until 18th December, so please do - the more money we can raise, the better! Grandma would be so amazed and thankful. Thanks to every single one of you! Lili (granddaughter) x

We were Muriel's neighbours for many years as our house is built where their greenhouses used to stand so we still pick up shards of glass many years later. A luvly lady.

Page set up in memory of Muriel Brent-Breschinsky as, although she adored flowers, she decided she would prefer not to receive these. Instead, she wished for donations to be made to a cause very close to her heart - The YELAbus Association
