I've raised £250 to help Glangwili hospital’s bereavement team to fund resources in order to create memory boxes for bereaved families.

It is with the heaviest of hearts we advise that Angela Collins - beautiful wife to Dad, beloved mum to Rhys and I, wonderful mum in law to Mark & Laura, and devoted nanny to Katie, Riley & Finley passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22nd June following a short battle with cancer.
When we knew that mum was approaching the end of her life, the bereavement team at Glangwili hospital provided us with the opportunity to create memory boxes to allow each of us to have our own personal recollection of mum.
Each box contains a teddy bear and an individually hand carved wooden heart which were both held by mum. We also have an imprint of mum’s handprint and a lock of her hair. The grandchildrens’ boxes also contain an activity book to allow them to record their precious memories of nanny.
We would like to raise money to assist the bereavement team in ensuring this wonderful service continues for other families who experience the heartache of losing a loved one.
We, however, are broken hearted and trying to understand how we carry on without Mum in our lives x
