We cannot fail to acknowledge that, despite it being 2022, war is raging in a manner we thought - hoped - never to see again. No right-minded person can fail to be moved by the images we are seeing daily.

As a team we have seen and experienced war in its many forms, in many places, yet this humanitarian crisis feels a greater intensity than any of us could imagine.

But, as the saying goes: ‘the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,’

Which is why we are hugely privileged to be here in Ukraine. We are working with several communities, all of whom are affected by this heinous war.

From a base in the green zone we are able to receive humanitarian aid from overseas and the distribute it across the country as and where the most need is.

Many people have put their lives on hold and are volunteering their time and skills to give our Ukrainian friends the support they richly deserve at this devastating time.

We have registered with the correct embassies, filed all necessary paperwork and been approved by the Ukrainian government and Peace Foundation. Charity registration is pending

Obviously, none of this is easy to do at short notice, nor is it cheap. We have been blessed by truly amazing people and acts of generosity, but need to really push to make a life-saving difference.
