    Story

We will be walking the White Horse Trail over the Easter bank holiday weekend to raise money for The Mayor’s Appeal. The Trail is a 90 mile circular route incorporating the 8 white horses of Wiltshire, which are at Westbury, Devizes, Alton Barnes, Cherhill, Broad Town, Hackpen, Marlborough and Pewsey.

We would be grateful if you can support The Mayor's Appeal charities by sponsoring us.

This year the Mayor's Appeal is supporting two Salisbury charities that do amazing work to help local children and young people:

Childrens Chance aims to give children and young people whose families are going through hard times, or who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, the opportunity to do things that would otherwise be denied them, and which can so often be taken for granted, such as swimming lessons, music tuition, school trips and sports clubs (www.childrenschance.co.uk).

The Rose Gale Trust supports older teenagers and young adults by making grants to help them get employment, education and training, to enable them to undertake voluntary work and to provide support in crisis. Grants are awarded for things such as help with travel costs to college, driving lessons, purchase of a laptop for study or equipment required for a college course (www.rosegaletrust.org).

    Many thanks,

    Mike, Andy and Mark
