Make a Difference: A Christmas to Remember!

Imagine a Christmas where laughter echoes, bellies are full, and not a single stocking is left bare. This isn't a scene from a fairytale, it's the magic we want to create for incredible young adults from care in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

No one deserves to be alone at Christmas, especially young people who've already faced more than most. Many of them have grown up in care, shouldered heavy burdens, and now find themselves navigating life on their own. We know the impact of isolation, and that's why, for five years running, we've hosted a special Christmas party – a chance for them to feel loved, supported, and like part of a big, warm family.

The truth is, you helped write a remarkable story. Thanks to your support in the past, we haven't lost a single child to suicide during these holiday gatherings. That's a powerful testament to the power of connection and the difference we can make together.

This year, we want to write another chapter filled with joy. We're planning a party bursting with festive cheer: a delicious Christmas dinner (think mountains of fluffy mash and all the trimmings!), top-notch entertainment (maybe a hilarious magician or a foot-stomping band?), and gift hampers overflowing with goodies (think cosy essentials and delicious treats!).

Here's where you come in, our awesome squad of Santa's secret helpers! Your donation, big or small, will make this magical Christmas a reality. Every penny helps to bring smiles, laughter, and a sense of belonging to these amazing young adults.

Want to see what your donation will go towards? Here's a sneak peek at how your contribution can make a difference:

• Fuelling festive fun: A delicious Christmas feast for all, with enough turkey and trimmings to satisfy even the hungriest Santa's elves!

• Unleashing the party spirit: Top-notch entertainment to get everyone grooving, whether it's a DJ spinning festive tunes, a band belting out classic Christmas hits, or a magician making wishes come true!

• Spreading Christmas cheer: Gift hampers filled with cosy essentials, sweet treats, and little surprises – a reminder that they're loved and cared for.

Let's make this Christmas one for the memory books! Donate today and help us paint a picture of joy for these wonderful young adults.

Together, we can make a difference.

Every share counts! Spread the word using the hashtag #MakeADifference2024 and link back to our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/makeadifference2024

Let's make this Christmas one to remember! Thank you for your support.
