Story
I have recently been selected to play in the England Under 13 Girls Ice Hockey Team travelling to the 63rd Pee-Wee Tournament in Quebec, Canada in February 2023!
This is the first time in the history of this famous international tournament that girls have been allowed to play. This is a great opportunity for us to put girls Ice Hockey on the map and rival the boys!
We have been training very hard for this and will play in the Girls Division against 12 other girls teams from all over the world.
To help me meet the cost of this trip and raise some funds, between now and when we land on 7th Feb, I will be walking, running, cycling and skating from the airport in Montreal all the way to the Videotron Arena in Quebec, where we play our first game! This is a distance of 177 miles (285km)!!!!!
My friend and Solway and England team mate Mollie Walker is also going so please check out her go-fund me page if you have a few extra bucks to spare!

2 years agoHi everyone, from a very cold and snowy Quebec!! I just wanted to let everyone know that I have now hit my target of 177 miles in my Montreal to Quebec challenge! I completed this by skating around the Park of Abrahams Outdoor Rink loop with the help of my England Team mates! I want to say a massive thankyou to you all for helping me meet the cost of this fantastic trip and I hope you get to live stream our first game today at the Videotron against the Florida Alliance!!!! I'll do my best for all of those who have donated. Maisie! XX

2 years agoSo far I have completed 151 miles, so I have 26 miles left and I only have 2 days before I go to Canada. This weekend I have my last training camp in Nottingham. Thank you to everybody who has donated to help me reach my target. Its unlikely that I will be able to hit my target of 177 miles before I leave on Monday, but I will continue to work hard towards it over the next few days and even in Canada to hit it. I have cycled 8 miles today and ran 2 miles in the hotel at Nottingham. I will updated next when I have completed 177 miles .
