Story

A group of players and friends of Keighley RUFC are taking on a month long challenge in support of an amazing local charity, It's Worth Talking About.

Formed in March 2020 #ItsWorthTalkingAbout was originally set up as a single men's mental health peer support group in Keighley, but has now developed in to a multi group, multi sex organisation covering the Worth & Aire Valley.

The aim of #ItsWorthTalkingAbout is to provide safe, confidential spaces for men & women to come & talk about anything that is affecting their wellbeing, mental health or quality of life.

The lads will be running 5k a day, everyday throughout August 2023, totalling over 93 miles each. The Club itself has been closely affected by the devastating effects of mental health. We have lost people close to us, both connected to the club and personally. We will be dedicating our efforts in memory of Sam, Alex and all those we choose to remember whilst completing this challenge.

Any donation, big or small will make a huge difference. We can't thank you enough for standing shoulder to shoulder with us and supporting our incredible challenge.

Thank you!

(disclaimer: although this is a crowdfunding page, all donations will be paid directly to an account owned by IWTA)
