Story

I'm  doing  the   rearranged Lincoln  10k  with  my  daughter  Wendy,  her  partner  Mark,  and  my  niece  Sarah on July 1 2018 to  raise  money  to  purchase  a  Concept  2  rower  for  the  Cardiac  Rehabilitation  Nurses. Cardiac Rehabilitation is a programme of health and recovery advice incorporating, symptom management, medication review, exercise/education programmes and psychological support.  It has been clinically proven to aid recovery after a recent cardiac event.

One of the exercise programmes we deliver in Lincolnshire is at Burgh Le Marsh village hall. We are in the process of purchasing new exercise equipment for this programme in order to help patients improve their fitness levels following a recent cardiac event. In order to improve patient outcomes we are looking to purchase a Concept 2 rower which provides cardiovascular exercise. Undertaking regular exercise is important in helping to promote recovery and preventing any future cardiac events.
