Jude is 5 year old boy and is unable to eat any food. His body attacks food and is unable to deal well with the enviroment. This causes Jude to have symptoms ranging from skin flushing, eczema and fatigue to extreme adominal pain, bloody Diarrhoea and inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. In addition to these horrible symptoms Jude also has severe reflux disease (GORD), delayed gastric emptying, hypermobility, food and environmental allergies and asthma

Jude has to take numerous medications a day to try and control his symptoms as well as be slow fed a hypoallergenic feed directly into his stomach via a PEG feeding tube and feeding pump for 19 hours a day.

Jude is currently under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital and Evelina childrens hospital but so far all investigations into the underlying cause of Jude’s problems have given no answers.

We are hoping to raise enough funds to take Jude to America where research into childrens medicine is more advanced in the hope of getting the answers to Jude’s problems and hopefully treatment to help him lead a normal life.
