Music has enriched my daughters' lives. They have benfited for over a decade from the opportunities provided by Brighton Music and Arts and their talented and dedicated staff. They are members of multiple instrumental, orchestral and singing groups and have gained friendship and experiences. But we are fortunate to be able to finance this. I want people to use my running of the Brighton marathon as an excuse for supporting the work of Encore - a group of current and former members of the Brighton Youth Orchestra - particularly their objective of ensuring no child is excluded from the opportunity to make music for financial reasons.
