Although I was not born and bred in Stoke on Trent I now consider it my home having lived here for the last 16 years, So after starting to get involved in the local community,I would love to give something back.One of the issues that has come to my attention is the lack of assistance available to local charities .

One such charity is Helping Angels, a small local charity here in Stoke.They support and inspire vulnerable adults and children who, unlike most of us, struggle to cope with everyday issues we take for granted.

So with this in mind I aim to trek to the lost city of Teyuna in Columbia.This involves trekking through dense, humid jungle terrain over 5 days with a 1250 step climb at the end. So out of my comfort zone!
