Story

To celebrate my 50th Birthday I'm undertaking some 50 themed challenges with others to raise money for Cancer charities who have helped & are helping support friends & family

We will split donations between: Cancer Research UK, North Devon Hospital Over & Above, North Devon Hospice & Exeter Hospicare who helped mine & my sisters parents & in laws & friends at the end of their lives

Myself, Sara Holland & Teresa Poole are doing a 50 mile walk - the Coleridge Way in June,

I'm doing a 16 mile run with dog Sid in April

I'm then going solo for a 50k Ultra Marathon in August around Minehead, where my mum in law originates from, having helped provide end of life care for her last year

Please support us to help find a cure for cancer & to help those who provide support to loved ones at the end of their lives!

So the final challenge is complete! Hard work but so amazing. The second half I made a new friend Andrew, a cancer survivor - we kept each other going to the end. Thanks all for your generosity!

Thanks everyone for your generous donations to date & those who have given money direct or by way of sponsorship. Myself & Sid completed our first challenge on Saturday - around 15 miles trail running on the steep & boggy Blackdown Hills, coming in as the 3rd lady & 6th overall. Next is the 50 mile walk with Teresa & Sara on the 10th - 12th June Message me if you want to join us for any part of it!
