I will be competing in MAN Vs COAST 2022 which is a 25 mile challenge along the rugged Cornish coast line. This will be across tough terrain and will include jumping off of cliffs and swimming sections in the sea! It will be the biggest challenge I have ever attempted and at 52 years of age I will be confronting and overcoming personal demons both psychically and mentally. PTSD999 supports emergency service workers who are struggling because of what they have experienced through the course of their duty. PTSD999 are there when you need them not just during 'office hours' . I am not ashamed to say that they were there for me when it all got too tough. Yellow Brick Road project are based in my home town Andover and they work with children who may not have had the greatest opportunities in life. YBRP Engage - Educate and Evolve the lives of these children through mentors and activities that develop the children in way they may never have previously experienced.

YBRP are currently working with the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and Andover Neighbourhoods policing team to provide exciting outdoor activities for these children including mountain biking/ Kayaking / map reading and cooking over an open fire. This will give them opportunity to grow and develop new skills - Confidence - and Self esteem which can be lacking and in turn help them along their journey in life.

I would like to raise money for this project so that waterproof boots / coats can be purchased but also to offer sponsorship of any of the children that may wish to embark on the full Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and experience the huge benefits this great institution provides.
