I've raised £4000 to help pay for Richard Mulholland's funeral

You may already know, but Richard James Mulholland died suddenly and unexpectedly on the morning of Easter Day (Sunday 21st April 2019). He was only 41 and leaves a wife and two children.
My name is Roy Hipkiss and Richard was a good friend. I am raising funds to help cover the cost of his funeral and associated expenses.
Richard was at home and the suspected cause was either heart or a pulmonary embolism (blood clot on the lung), although this is yet to be confirmed. His family and friends are devastated as is to be expected. Richard was self-employed and had many different jobs. He worked hard to support his family, was generous and caring.
Unfortunately, like so many people at such a young age, Richard didn't have any life insurance and although the Church we both belong to is providing its services free of charge, the costs associated with a funeral must be met. I know that we all have many demands on our time and money, but I do hope that you will feel able to make a donation of whatever you can afford to help his family and to remember a special man, who was a good and much loved: son, husband, father and friend.
It was my idea to set this Just Giving page up and pleased to have permission from his widow, Debbie. All funds will be used as described and I am suggesting that if there are any surplus funds they should be retained to support the family short term due to the loss of Richards income.
