Devastatingly, we’ve had three break-ins in the space of a week at the HaverHub building in town. The first saw our side door kicked in, and the second occurred when some opportunistic kids came in through the unsecured door. Fortunately, they were chased off by one of our fantastic HaverHelpers, but it seems they returned yesterday evening/night. They’ve smashed a window, emptied two fire extinguishers everywhere, helped themselves to our supplies, and generally made a big mess. They’ve also stolen 26 bottles of prosecco, and a net full of plastic ducks from the duck race.

We now need to repair some windows, repair the gate, replace two fire extinguishers, refill the first aid kits and replace 26 bottles of prosecco and general soft drinks/supplies.
