The life of Georgie Khalid (Zia Ul Haque) 08/12/1988 - 24/04/2022 aged 33.

University years 2007 -2010 graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons (Media Production joint Media Studies) degree.

Hi everyone,

Most of you are aware of the sudden passing of our dear friend Georgie who died of a cardiac arrest at his home on 24/04/2022. Georgie was a huge character during our University days, the life and soul of every party! A dear friend, larger than life and made everyone smile, his legacy will live on forever.

Chichester University will always be a place that Georgie called home, for all of us that were lucky enough to know Georgie he will always be a part of our family.

We are hoping to raise lots of money for a memorial bench and venue space to celebrate his life this summer (2022 dates to be released )

Georgie…. Hey Buddy, always remember how very much loved you are. I don’t think you understand how many people’s lives you touched. How many smiles you put on peoples faces and the support you gave to others.

We will miss your kindness, warm infectious laugh and hugs. You are one of the funniest, craziest people I have ever met. We share so many amazing memories my dear friend.

I hope you now see how incredible you really are. We love you unconditionally and you are irreplaceable.

If anything these last 12 years has taught us all that “Good friends never say Goodbye, they simply say see you soon”
